§ Sir D. EcclesI know that this school is badly needed. It has been included in the building programme for 1961–62 and should be ready by 1963. It had to give way to other urgent projects in the Authority's programme for the coming year.
§ Mr. OsborneIs the Minister aware that many people living in country districts feel that their children are not getting as fair a share of good educational chances as are children living in towns? Will he try to ensure that there is a fairer balance for people living in rural areas?
§ Sir D. EcclesYes. It is certainly my intention to provide a fair balance. I will consider the area with which my hon. Friend is concerned.
