§ Mr. MacLeodIs my right hon. Friend aware that the Highlands are far too dependent upon public works, and that in this area public works are coming to an end? Is he satisfied that his office in Inverness is doing all it can?
§ Mr. MaudlingI recognise that the provision of employment in the Highlands, and in Scotland generally, is a most important and urgent responsibility of my Department, and I very much welcome any advice or suggestions on this subject.
