§ The President of the Board of Trade (Sir David Eccles)The Board of Trade has brought the facilities available in North Staffordshire to the attention of a number of industrialists. Two firms are starting small projects there, though not on the Newstead or Stoke sites. The Stoke-on-Trent City Council has not asked for any consultations.
