asked the President of the Board of Trade what official procedures are required by Her Majesty's Government to be completed by British firms wishing to avail themselves of the facilities now open for advertising equipment in technical journals in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Will the President of the Board of Trade bear in mind that it was American big business that gave us the information and that is friendly disposed towards British industry, and will he ask his officials to deal with this matter and look into it again so that we are not left out when orders are available?

Yes, Sir. I will. I understand that people wishing to advertise in Soviet journals have the advantage of being able to pay in sterling. I will certainly look into any particular case.
