I beg to move, That this House takes note of the Report of the Colonial Development Corporation and expresses its appreciation of the increasing r61e of the Corporation in economic development in the Commonwealth. There is scarcely time left for me to do other than move this important Motion concerning the affairs of the Colonial Development Corporation because of the extraordinary conduct of two Opposition Front Bench speakers in having taken part in a debate on a private Members' day. But in the very short time that is available I should like, on behalf of myself and my hon. Friend the Member for Essex, South-East (Mr. Braine), to express to the Government the great anxiety we feel, and which is, no doubt, shared by the Secretary of State for the Colonies, about the future of this great organization—
