§ The Prime Minister (Mr. Harold Macmillan)My hon. Friend will recognise that throughout the Commonwealth the question how to observe Commonwealth Day is a matter for local decision. Her Majesty's Government are now considering what further measures can be taken to spread a greater knowledge of the Commonwealth and what it stands for in this country and how best to consult with other Commonwealth Governments and Colonial Administrations on this general question.
