§ 38. Mr. Hoyasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what proportion of the road programme planned for this year has now been completed; and how many miles of road this represents.
§ Mr. MaclayApart from smaller schemes, road schemes planned to start in one year are not normally completed until some time later. The Roads (Scotland) Vote for 1959–60 provided for the authorisation of road schemes which will cost the Exchequer approximately £7 million.
