§ The Prime MinisterI would refer the hon. Member to my statement on 28th April about radioactive fall-out.
§ Mr. GrimondI have read that statement, but there seems doubt about the whole subject—for instance, whether we are aware of the nature of the Argus experiments in America. Can the Prime Minister say whether there is complete agreement between our scientists and American scientists on the dangers about which both are somewhat vague and, if so, what is the date of the most recent information from America on which this statement is based?
§ The Prime MinisterThe subject is dealt with in paragraph 5 of the statement and perhaps to some extent in paragraph 6. Of course, it is not possible to get all scientists to agree on everything, any more than it is possible in other sets of experts. We are in close touch with our American friends and their scientists and we try our best to get a collective view.
