I beg to move, in page 162, line 32, at the end to add: (2) Without prejudice to their powers under the foregoing subsection, a street works authority may at any time resolve to bear the whole or a portion of the expenses of any street works in their area under the code of 1892 or the code of 1875 or under a provision in a local Act relating to such works, being expenses which would otherwise be apportioned on, or to the owner of, any premises of which only the rear or a flank fronts the street, and where an authority so resolve the liability of the owner of those premises in respect of those expenses shall be treated as discharged or reduced accordingly. This is a Privilege Amendment.
