HC Deb 03 November 1958 vol 594 c582
4. Mr. Lewis

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what action he is taking to co-ordinate the Government's publicity for its plans dealing with the Cyprus problem.

Dr. Hill

The responsibility for the relevant information services rests with the Foreign Secretary and the Colonial Secretary, between whom there is the closest co-ordination.

Mr. Lewis

Are we then to take it again that there is no co-ordination of policy on this publicity, as on the other matter I raised?

Dr. Hill

The hon. Gentleman is not so to take it. I suggest that he read the answer.
