§ 11. Mr. Osborneasked the Secretary of State for Air if he will investigate the complaints from Cleethorpes of the disturbance and dangers of low-flying aircraft over that area, details of which have been sent to him; and if he will take steps as far as practicable to end this nuisance.
§ Mr. OsborneWhile thanking my right hon. Friend for the action he is taking, may I ask him if he would be good enough to bear in mind that my constituents, while recognising that low-flying practice must take place, wonder if it could not take place from aerodromes in Scotland or Wales away from populated areas, where it would not cause so much nuisance?
Mr. WardAs there is no obvious cause for this complaint, I have not anything which I can send to Wales or Scotland.
§ Mr. de FreitasWill the right hon. Gentleman bear in mind that my constituents will be very much happier if this flying takes place over the eastern part of the constituency of the hon. Member for Louth (Mr. Osborne), rather than in the area which I represent?
