asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government continue to support the principle of the proposed Special United Nations Fund for Economic Development at the United Nations in the light of the creation at the last Session of the General Assembly of a Special Project Fund of 100 million dollars linked to the technical assistance programme.

Yes, Sir, but Her Majesty's Government agree with the view of the General Assembly that the resources prospectively available are not sufficient to establish at the present time a multilateral capital investment fund.
