HC Deb 25 March 1957 vol 567 c784
34. Mr. Willey

asked the Minister of Health what reply he has made to the protest against the increase in the price of National Dried Milk and welfare milk sent to him by the County Borough of Sunderland.

Mr. Vaughan-Morgan

A letter was sent to the council on 18th March saying that its protest had been noted.

Mr. Willey

Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that these increases in the price of welfare milk are causing the gravest concern to all those responsible for the welfare and care of children in Sunderland?

Mr. Vaughan-Morgan

This matter was discussed in the debate on 19th March and the necessary Order is now before the House.
