§ 17. Mr. Hornbyasked the Minister of Health whether the experimental organisation and methods service is now established on a permanent basis; whether any of the several comparative studies of particular topics at a number of hospitals referred to in Command Paper No. 9857 have been completed; and with what results.
§ Mr. VosperThe experience of the experimental organisation and methods service in the hospital field is being reviewed, but it is too early to say whether it will be established oil a permanent basis, and if so, in what form. A study on waiting time in out-patients departments in hospitals has been completed, and I am considering what further guidance can be given to hospital authorities in the light of it.
