§ Mr. VosperThe City and Guilds of London Institute have recently established an examination for industrial radiography and courses leading to it have been provided at the Northampton Polytechnic in London and at Wednesbury Technical College. This summer the Ministry ran a short course on this subject at the Harwell Isotope School for teachers for technical colleges. Further courses for teachers and students will be arranged as the demand from industry develops.
§ Mr. NeaveIs it the intention of my hon. Friend's Department to extend training in radiography to the technical college programme as a whole?
§ Mr. VosperThat depends on the demand from industry; I hope that this Question, and the reply to it, may stimulate that demand. If that is the case, we shall certainly give further consideration to establishing even more courses.
