HC Deb 29 May 1956 vol 553 cc39-40 A notice under this Act must be in writing and may be served on the person to whom it is to be given either by delivering it to him or by sending it by post addressed to him at his usual or last known place of abode.—[Mr. Amory.]

Brought up, and read the First time.

Mr. Amory

I beg to move, That the Clause be read a Second time.

The Clause should have been included in the Bill, but through an oversight it was omitted. It provides for what I may describe as the usual procedure as to the service of notices.

Question put and agreed to.

Clause read a Second time, and added to the Bill.
