§ Mr. MolsonThe amount of the grant, which has now been made, is £6,000. I understand that the county council has yet to obtain tenders, but work should be able to start in two or three months.
§ Sir H. RoperWill my hon. Friend bear in mind that I was advised more than a year ago that formal approval was about to be granted for this work and that the work was expected to start in early spring—spring of last year? Will he bear in mind that in the meantime about 100 people are living under the constant threat of flooding whenever there is heavy rain?
§ Mr. MolsonI am glad to tell my hon. Friend that it is likely that the work will start in June this year.
