§ 18. Mr. Chetwyndasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what action he is taking to increase the number of driving test examiners in the Tees-side area in view of the long waiting period for applicants for tests.
§ Mr. MolsonThe number will be increased from eight to eleven as soon as the additional staff we are recruiting become available.
§ Mr. ChetwyndCan the hon. Gentleman say when he expects that to be? Does he think that until he agrees to pay considerably higher salaries than at present he will get the increased number of examiners needed?
