§ Captain DuncanIs my right hon. Friend not aware that there are discussions on long-term assurances now going on between the Government and the farmers' representatives? Is this one of the subjects which will be discussed? Can an announcement be made before next spring, because then it will be too late?
§ Mr. StuartI am afraid it is too early at this stage to say what progress may be made with these discussions, but I will certainly bear the point in mind.
