§ 22. Mr. Dyeasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food where the raw sugar stored for strategic purposes on the Bexwell airfield in Norfolk was removed to for refining or other purposes.
§ Mr. DyeIs not it most uneconomic to dispose of this sugar by sending it to Greenock when there are refineries within a few miles in Norfolk which could have dealt with it?
Mr. AmoryThe actual sugar is disposed of to whatever refinery needs it at 2512 the time. The distance it is sent does not affect the Government financially, because a flat rate is paid.
