§ 34. Mr. J. Johnsonasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether, in view of the fact that the one month's waiting time for driving tests is considerably lengthened because of lack of testing staff, he will consider extending the three months' limit for a provisional driving licence.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterClause 8 of the Road Traffic Bill now before Parliament 398 proposes to extend the period of validity of provisional driving licences from three to six months.
