§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterWhen the scheme for a second carriageway between the North Circular Road and Bury Street was planned, the standard for a two-lane carriageway was 22 ft. As a result of the increase in standards since then, the second carriageway between Bury Street and Carter Hatch Lane will be 24 ft. wide.
