HC Deb 02 May 1955 vol 540 c1344
50. Mr. T. Reid

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if the Government of Albania still continue to disregard successfully the decree of the International Court, allowing damages of £800,000 to Britain for the deaths of British sailors in the Corfu Channel; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Turton

The Albanian Government have not yet shown any willingness to pay the compensation which was awarded to Her Majesty's Government by the International Court.
