§ 51. Mr. D. Jonesasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what steps it is proposed to take to conduct a land utilisation survey on the island of Antigua; and whether he will propose to the authorities concerned on the island that the lands under the control of the syndicate tenancy should be included in such a survey.
§ Mr. HopkinsonA grant from C.D. and W. Funds has already been approved to enable a survey to be carried out. The tenancy areas formerly owned by the Antigua Syndicate Estates Ltd., to which I assume the hon. Member refers, have recently been acquired by the Government of Antigua. They will be included in the survey.
