§ Mr. LytteltonThe Board is composed of two representatives of the millers, two representatives of the larger planters, two representatives of the smaller planters, and a chairman appointed by the Governor. The present accountant to the Board was appointed on 11 th January, 1953.
§ Mr. JohnsonIs the right hon. Gentleman aware of the long standing dissatisfaction of the planters in Mauritius? Will he think again about something I asked him two years ago, to send out an economist to inquire into the situation in the sugar industry?
§ Mr. LytteltonI have received no representations about the dissatisfaction of the planters, but I will look into the matter.
