Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the law as to the fees and allowances payable by coroners to witnesses, to persons summoned to attend as witnesses and to medical practitioners making post-mortem examinations by the coroner's direction or at the coroner's request, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the said Act in the grants under Part I of the Local Government Act, 1948, or under the Local Government (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act, 1954.—[Sir H.
