Motion made, and Question proposed, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the setting up of an Atomic Energy Authority for the United Kingdom and for other purposes, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of such sums in respect of the expenses of that Authority as the Lord President of the Council may with the consent of the Treasury determine; and
  2. (b) the payment into the Exchequer, if the Lord President of the Council with the approval of the Treasury so directs, of the whole or any part of the revenues of that Authority for any financial year.—[Mr. Crookshank.]

It being after Ten o'Clock, and objection being taken to further Proceeding, The CHAIRMAN left the Chair to report Progress, and ask leave to sit again.
