HC Deb 22 June 1954 vol 529 cc209-10
11. Mr. Dodds

asked the Secretary of State for War what progress has been made in his discussions with the Secretary of State for Air in respect of the Army's future needs of helicopters.

Mr. Head

Progress.

Mr. Dodds

Would the right hon. Gentleman say something about this progress? Is he aware that these discussions have been going on for a long time? Surely Korea has proved that the Army needs helicopters.

Mr. Head

I agree with that last statement, but I would rather make a full statement at the end of progress than an unfortunate statement in the middle of it.
