HC Deb 08 February 1954 vol 523 cc826-7
Brigadier Medlicott

On a point of order. Having regard to the fact, Mr. Speaker, that on some Mondays at least, we often get through Questions rather speedily, could consideration be given to a rearrangement so that a larger number of Questions could be allocated to Monday and thus relieve some of the very heavy pressure on other days?

Mr. Speaker

That is not a matter for me. Hon. Members put down Questions for the day on which it is convenient to themselves to get an oral answer. I should not like to interfere with their freedom of choice in the matter.
