HC Deb 05 March 1953 vol 512 c540
2. Mr. Parker

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action is being taken by the Metropolitan Police to deal with hooliganism on Saturday evenings on the Rookery Farm Estate, Dagenham.

Sir D. Maxwell Fyfe

The Commissioner of Police informs me that, as a result of complaints received, the police have paid particular attention to this area, especially during Saturday evenings, and during the past six months five arrests have been made for insulting behaviour. The police will continue to give the matter all possible attention.
