asked the Minister of Food what proportion of cheese made in England and Wales is made from goats' milk.

Major Lloyd George

Cheese made from goats' milk is not subject to rationing or other forms of control. I have no information on the quantity produced.

Mr. Gower

As very much excellent Continental cheese is made from goats' milk, will the Minister do all he possibly can to encourage the production of such cheese in this country?

Major Lloyd George indicated assent.
