asked the Minister of Works if he will appoint a Welsh representative to the Committee to inquire into the method of tendering for contracts by building firms.

As I stated on 9th June in reply to the hon. Member for Dartford (Mr. Dodds), I am not responsible for the appointments to this Committee.

Is there a Welsh representative on this Committee?

I have not investigated the provenance of the members of the Committee, but it is a technical committee and one would suppose that the highest professional competence was the quality required.
