§ 7. Sir T. Mooreasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is in a position to publish the order regulating the import of horses and donkeys into this country from Ireland.
§ Sir T. DugdaleI assume that my hon. and gallant Friend is referring to the Horses (Sea Transport) Order, 1952, which is designed to safeguard horses and donkeys against unnecessary suffering while being carried by sea to or from Great Britain. This Order was made and published last July.
§ Sir T. MooreCan my right hon. Friend say whether the Order is working entirely satisfactory?
§ Sir T. DugdaleI have had no complaints about its working.
