§ Mr. AwberyIs the right hon. Gentleman aware that hardly a season passes when there is not a tragedy similar to that on the East Coast? Last year it was North and West Wales and the Lyn-mouth area. Now it is the East Coast. In the West Country 150,000 acres were flooded last year in the Bath Valley. Will he ask his right hon. and learned Friend to take that into consideration when dealing with the matter this afternoon?
