§ Mr. FletcherHas the Minister's attention been drawn to the very disturbing statement in the "Manchester Guardian" that an agreement had been reached with 388 Herr Krupp and that the Bonn Government had decided that they could not guarantee any undertaking given by Herr Krupp that he would not re-enter the coal and iron and steel industry? Can the Minister give an assurance that there is no truth in that report, which I am sure will be very disturbing to all sections in the House?
§ Mr. NuttingI prefer not to say anything further on this subject until negotiations with the German Federal Government have been concluded. When those negotiations have been concluded, a full report will be made, of course, to the House.
