§ 14. Mr. Tilneyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what plans there are for the redevelopment of the Vieux Fort area of St. Lucia formerly used by the United States of America as an air and army base.
§ Mr. LytteltonA team of experts who visited St. Lucia have recommended that grants be made from Colonial Development and Welfare funds to help develop this area, which they considered suitable for rearing livestock and dairy farming. These recommendations will be taken into account by the Development Commissioner whom we are now trying to find for St. Lucia.
