asked the President of the Board of Trade approximately, what proportion of the rubber boots and shoes sold in this country are home-produced and imported, respectively.

In 1951, 84 per cent. of the rubber footwear sold was manufactured in the United Kingdom. In the first quarter of 1952 the figure was 83 per cent. The balance was imported.
