§ 36. Mr. Christopher Hollisasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Defence whether, in the review of war pensions, he will consider the case of officers of the 1914 War whose pensions have not been revised in conformity with the increased cost of living.
§ Mr. BirchAs my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer informed my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Portsmouth, West (Brigadier Clarke), on 8th April, long service pensioners of H.M. Forces, including retired officers, come within the scope of the consideration now being given to the case of public service pensioners generally. I am not, however, in a position to make any statement at present.
