§ 28. Lord Malcolm Douglas-Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps are being taken for access to land for agricultural purposes to the west of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board's Scheme at Loch Mullardoch.
§ Mr. SnaddenThe question of access is being considered. I understand that the Hydro-Electric Board are discussing the matter with the Highlands Agricultural Executive Committee.
§ Lord Malcolm Douglas-HamiltonIs it not the case that round Benula Lodge there is considerable land suitable for grazing now completely cut off because of submersion of the road? Will my hon. Friend take urgent steps to ensure that this land can be reached?
§ Mr. SnaddenI think we had better await the result of inquiries by the agricultural committee concerned.
