§ 5. Mr. F. H. Haymanasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will require the planning authority for Cornwall in its development plan to preserve from farming and other operations a strip of land at least 50 yards wide from the edge of the cliff where no use is now made of such land, with the object of preserving the unique flora in many places and the amenities and atmosphere of the proposed coast-line path around the county.
§ Mr. H. MacmillanI must await the submission of the development plan, when I shall be able to consider, in conjunction with the Nature Conservancy and the National Parks Commission, whether it provides sufficiently for the preservation of the flora, and the safeguarding of the amenities of the coastline.
