asked the Minister of Food whether he has decided to proceed with the appointment of a public relations officer in his Department.

Dr. Hill

I cannot yet add anything to the statement made by my right hon. Friend on 12th November.

Lieut.-Colonel Lipton

Is the hon. Gentleman in a position to say when the Minister will be able to make up his mind on this matter, which has been the subject of consideration by him for some weeks past?

Dr. Hill

No, Sir, but it should not be long before the Minister is in a position to reply.

Mrs. Castle

Is it not a fact that the Minister's relations with the public are worsening every day?
