HC Deb 15 November 1951 vol 493 cc1137-8
1. Mr. Peter Freeman

asked the Minister of Health whether the inquiries into the claims of Mr. Rees Evans for curing cancer have been concluded; and when a report may be expected.

The Minister of Health (Mr. Harry Crookshank)

I understand that the Committee have not quite completed their investigation and are unable to say how soon they will be able to report.

Mr. Freeman

Are not the Committee taking a rather long time to prepare this report? Could anything be done to ask them to expedite it?

Mr. Crookshank

No, Sir. I think they are more anxious than anybody else to get the report out, but it requires a good deal of investigation.
