asked the Secretary of State for War for an assurance that the families of men now proceeding to the Egyptian Canal Zone are allowed to remain in the quarters they are now occupying.

Yes, Sir, except that. if some of these quarters are now needed to re-unite other Service families, the families now in occupation may be moved to quarters elsewhere.
