HC Deb 04 December 1951 vol 494 c2205
22. Lieut.-Commander Hutchison

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will introduce legislation similar to the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act, 1920, so as to provide for the reciprocal enforcement of orders for aliment between Scotland and those Dominions, Colonies and Protectorates to which the 1920 Act has been extended by Order in Council.

Mr. Stuart

While the matter is being kept under review, the practical difficulties which have hitherto prevented the application of the Act of 1920 to Scotland have not been overcome.
