§ 10. Mr. Turtonasked the Secretary of State for War why the pay of caretakers employed in Northern Command was, on 19th April, 1950, reduced from £4 15s. per week to £4 6s. 4d. per week; and whether caretakers will in the future be permitted to earn overtime pay for Sun day work.
§ Mr. M. StewartMy right hon. Friend is not aware that this reduction has been made. Perhaps the hon. Member will forward details of the caretakers he has in mind when it will also be possible to deal with the second part of this Question.
