Gentleman aware that the vast majority of the people of this country consider that he has been responsible for the housing programme since 1945, and as this Report contains the most scathing indictment of his housing policy will he not say what he intends to do to try to implement some of the recommendations of the Report?
§ Mr. BevanThose of the recommendations which fall to be considered by my Department are being considered now. As to the other point made by the hon. Gentleman, it was an indictment of private enterprise in the building industry.
