HC Deb 10 May 1950 vol 475 cc359-60
19. Mr. R. V. Grimston

asked the Postmaster-General if he has now given consideration to the reintroduction of the night letter telegram service, as it existed before the war, and to the reintroduction of the greetings telegram service, with the modification that delivery should be by first post on the morning following despatch; and with what result.

Mr. Ness Edwards

I am considering these and other proposals, and I will make a statement as soon as possible.
