HC Deb 26 July 1950 vol 478 c439
29. Mr. J. Grimston

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation how many aircraft per hour may be routed over one beacon before that beacon becomes saturated.

Mr. Beswick

The number of aircraft per hour that may, in accordance with internationally agreed separation standards be routed over a beacon (or any other point) in instrument flight conditions, depends on the number of other facilities in the area and the location of adjacent airports and airways.
