HC Deb 12 December 1950 vol 482 cc964-5
24. Mr. Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from the Kilmarnock district of the Scottish Farmers' Union on the question of the use of agricultural land for housing; and what reply he has made.

Mr. T. Fraser

I have received representations from the headquarters of the National Farmers' Union of Scotland about the use of certain land in Kilmarnock for housing and a meeting has been arranged with the Union at which the question will be discussed.

Mr. Ross

Can my hon. Friend say when that meeting will take place?

Mr. Fraser

I am due to meet the N.F.U. of Scotland on Monday next.
