§ 7. Mr. Turtonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has now investigated the discrimination exercised against Lieut.-Colonel John Stevenson, of Hamburg, following his complaints regarding the differential treatment between high-ranking and subordinate officials used by the Control Commission in the matter of prosecutions for serious offences.
§ Mr. Ernest DaviesMy right hon. Friend has investigated Lieut.-Colonel Stevenson's complaints and is satisfied that no discrimination has been shown against him by the Control Commission.
§ Mr. TurtonIn view of the great seriousness of the position and the unsatisfactory nature of the reply, I beg to give notice that I shall attempt to raise this matter on the Adjournment at an early opportunity.
