HC Deb 06 December 1950 vol 482 c332
7. Mr. Turton

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has now investigated the discrimination exercised against Lieut.-Colonel John Stevenson, of Hamburg, following his complaints regarding the differential treatment between high-ranking and subordinate officials used by the Control Commission in the matter of prosecutions for serious offences.

Mr. Ernest Davies

My right hon. Friend has investigated Lieut.-Colonel Stevenson's complaints and is satisfied that no discrimination has been shown against him by the Control Commission.

Mr. Turton

In view of the great seriousness of the position and the unsatisfactory nature of the reply, I beg to give notice that I shall attempt to raise this matter on the Adjournment at an early opportunity.
